Celene Ibrahim’s textual study "Women and Gender in the Qur’an" presents findings resulting from her shift in perspective and methodology within the research field. Unlike earlier studies, she considers the Qur’an’s narrative structures and focuses on methods of literary analysis to analyse the embedding of female figures and gender issues in Qur’anic themes and messages relevant to both genders.
